You've Mapped The Month Now Let Me Put The Full Throttle Behind It
Frequently asked questions
Is this only for a book that hasn’t launched yet?
It can be used before a release, soon after publication or when you’re preparing a relaunch. Your book’s current stage is part of how I shape the recommendations.
Is it only for first-time authors?
No. The plan can be useful whether this is your first book or your tenth. Your intake tells me what you already know, what you’ve tried and what you want to achieve now.
What if I don’t have an email list or a big social following?
You can still order a plan. I’ll take your current audience and resources into account when choosing possible routes. You don’t need a large following to start planning ways to get your book in front of people.
Do I need money for advertising?
The plan is shaped around the budget you give me, including a limited or zero budget. Any fees charged by third-party services are separate from the A$549 plan.
Do you carry out the campaign for me?
This product is a personalised strategy and planning service. You receive the campaign plan and editable promotional materials, then you choose which actions you carry out. Posting, contacting reviewers, managing ads and other done-for-you campaign work are not included.
Can you promise a certain number of readers or sales?
No sales number can be promised. The plan gives you a focused way to pursue discovery opportunities and identify useful signs of interest, but sales also depend on the book, its presentation, pricing, availability and reader response.
When does the 72-hour period begin, and what happens if I need a change?
The 72 hours countdown begin once your completed intake and required links or materials have arrived. One consolidated revision is included. Send your requested adjustments within seven calendar days of delivery, and I’ll return the revised plan within three business days.

The Author’s Secret Sauce 30 Day Launch Plan

tailored-to-your-book contacts
During the Sprint, you chose a reader, selected a route to try, found potential opportunities, drafted promotional copy and mapped out your next 30 days. You now have a direction for your book.
The next step can involve a lot of detailed work: checking which channels fit your book and release stage, researching people or organisations worth approaching, writing enough promotional material for the month and fitting the actions around your budget and available time.
If you’d like help with that groundwork, I can use the decisions you made during the Sprint as the starting brief. I’ll build on your plan with tailored channel recommendations, relevant contacts, promotional drafts, outreach scripts and a calendar with realistic time estimates.
You’ll receive a prepared set of materials to edit and use as you carry out your own marketing. You choose which actions to take and when.
I Smashed Out That Idea In My Own Book Launches
I’ve spent 22 years in internet marketing. When I brought my fiction series into the world, I started with no existing audience. So I built one before release, along with a 13-strand campaign spanning Australia, the US, the UK and Canada.
The email list grew past 400 before release. Across eight book promotions, my books ranked in the top 3 for reader views every time, including 1 first-place finish.
That is what happens when discovery is built into the plan. The book has more than one way to come into view and readers have many chances to find it.
Your book needs a route of its own
That campaign had 13 strands because it was built for that series. Your book has its own starting point: its genre, release stage, the promotion you’ve already done and the time and money you can put behind it.
When you’re new to marketing, advice can feel like a dozen open tabs: start a newsletter, post every day, make videos, contact reviewers, run ads. Every option seems urgent. It’s easy to spend your energy trying things without knowing how they fit together or what to look for in the results.
Your book needs a route that makes sense for this book and your circumstances. Then it becomes easier to see what deserves attention now, what can wait and whether more people are discovering the book, taking an interest and moving towards a sale.
Give Your Book an expert route for the next 30 days
Imagine knowing which parts of your marketing deserve attention, why they fit your book and what progress might look like. You can spend your energy helping people discover the book and giving them a clear path to buy it, instead of second-guessing a pile of conflicting advice, then end up doing nothing. It’s far better to have a solid PLAN of ACTION to follow along to.
That’s the thinking behind the Author’s Secret Sauce 30-Day Launch Plan. It maps a route for your book based on where it is now, what you’ve already built, how much time and money you can put behind it and what you want this month to achieve.
The plan brings those decisions together around three priority channels. The aim is simple: give your book more opportunities to be seen, make it easier for interested people to take the next step and see what response is developing.
You don’t need an existing mailing list, an advertising budget or a marketing background.
Your Plan Arrives Ready to Run With
Your personalised plan comes as an editable working pack, with the strategy, calendar and copy together. You can see how you fit the month together and adapt the materials to your voice.
It includes:
A 30-day calendar with realistic time estimates, so you can see what each week asks of you.
Three priority channels chosen for your book, release stage, budget and available time, with the reason each one belongs in the plan.
15 tailored-to-your-book contacts to reach out to let them know about your book (this is the secret sauce!)
Ten promotional post drafts tailored to your book, ready for you to edit and use.
Five outreach scripts to help you approach people or organisations who could put the book in front of more readers.
An outcome tracker for visibility, clicks, samples, email sign-ups and sales where those figures are available.
Bonus: You’ll also receive the complete PDF of Full Throttle Indie Book Marketing, my practical guide to finding readers and selling more books. Keep it as a reference for the ideas behind your personalised plan and for what you want to build after the 30 days.
The pieces work together: each channel has a purpose, the copy gives you a starting point and the tracker helps you see what response is developing.
Every recommendation starts with your book
Your genre, release timing, existing audience, past promotion, available budget and spare hours all change what makes sense. A plan built without those details can ask for time you don’t have or send you towards channels that don’t fit.
Before choosing the three priorities, I ask about your book and the position it’s in now: what you’ve already tried, what you can use, how much time and money you want to devote and what you want this month to achieve.
Then every recommendation has to earn its place. It must suit your book, be realistic for your circumstances and give readers a way to discover it, take an interest and move towards buying it. That’s how the plan gives you a route you can recognise as your own.
From intake to plan delivery in 72 hours
You can begin as soon as you’re ready. Once I have your completed intake and the book links or materials needed to build the plan the 72-hour delivery period begins.
I’ll shape the plan around your answers, check that the channel choices fit your genre, time and budget and review the advice and copy for accuracy and usability. Then I’ll send you the editable plan pack.
After you’ve reviewed it, one round of revisions is included. You can send a set of adjustments to the plan and its copy based on your original intake and goals.
Your plan includes one revision round. Please send one consolidated list of requested adjustments within 7 calendar days of delivery. I’ll return the revised plan within 3 business days of receiving it.
The revision covers reasonable refinements to the original brief, including the calendar, selected channels and included promotional copy. If I’ve made an error or missed information you supplied in the intake, I’ll correct it at no extra cost and it won’t use your revision round. If your book, release date or goals have materially changed since you submitted the intake, I’ll discuss any extra scope or cost with you before doing that work.

Publishing independently means you chose to take charge of getting the book into the world. Marketing is how you keep making choices about where it goes next.

Foundational publishing frameworks
Every sustainable indie career rests upon three distinct operational engines developed well before release day.
Direct-to-Reader Stewardship
Retail Categorization & Search
Structured ARC Coordination
Email newsletter infrastructure that converts casual storefront browsers into permanent patrons who purchase future releases on day one.
Precise keyword architecture and curated subcategories that tell distribution algorithms exactly who should discover your book.
Systematic advance review copy distribution schedules designed to gather verified reader feedback before release day.
Owned readership vs rented platform reach
Relying strictly on marketplace algorithmic visibility leaves your intellectual property vulnerable to sudden policy changes and auction bid spikes. True independence begins when an author maintains sovereign direct communication with their readership rather than leasing exposure.
When you establish dedicated reader communication channels, every backlist title gains compound commercial velocity. Instead of funding transient ad campaigns, deliberate authors invest their time into building permanent distribution conduits they control entirely.
